Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has appointed Gent of Belgium star Moses Simon as the one to be in charge of taking free kicks in today’s game against Cameroon.
Captain of the team John Obi Mikel who is usually the one taking freekick for the team will now be needed in the box to give Nigeria presence in the box of Cameroon from set pieces.
Simon distinguished himself during the free kick drills by the coach during their last training session, so also Oghenekaro Etebo who is not in the starting line up.
The Gent star scored his first international goal for Nigeria from a free kick and Rohr will be hoping he re-enact same feat today against Cameroon at the nest of Champions stadium Uyo.
