Odion Ighalo has recaptured the form that made Chinese side Chanchung Yatai paid English Premier League side Watford big money to sign him in January as his brace powered them to a 3-2 win over Guangzhou R&F.
The brace took his goal tally to four in three game following his strikes in their previous game against Beijing Guoan and Shanghai SIPG respectively. Overall he now has six goals from 15 League games in the Chinese Super League.
Ighalo who is presently the highest paid Nigerian footballer opened scoring for his team, but they were six minutes away from drawing 2-2 against Guangzhou R&F before he popped up with the winner one minute to regulation time.
His form in front of goal has been pivotal in Chanchung Yatai rise in the table as they are now 9th on the 16 team table in the Chinese Super League as opposed to three weeks ago when they were 13th on the log.
