Arsenal big money signing Alexandre Lacazette has sent his thanks to Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi for the assist for his first Arsenal goal in their 2-0 pre season win over Sydney FC.
Lacazette produced a low finish to put Arsenal two goals up, profiting from a well weighted cut back by Iwobi who had made a strong run from the right of Arsenal attack.
Speaking on his official twitter handle, Lacazette who was introduced same time as Iwobi in the game, thanked the Nigeria international for the pass while expressing his delight at scoring his first Arsenal goal.

Iwobi also posted his delight at helping the French striker who was signed by Arsenal in a deal reportedly worth ยฃ48m, a fee that makes him arsenals record signing of all time.
