Rankings – Eagles Drop To 5th In Africa, 39th In The World After Loss To South Africa

The Super Eagles are now fifth in the latest world rankings released by world football governing body FIFA and not 4th as earlier reported by this portal.

Super Eagles 0-2 loss to South Africa cost them to lose one spot as they drop down to 39th from last month’s ranking of 38th and 4th in Africa.

In Africa the Eagles are now 5th in Africa with Egypt still on top as Africa’s number one followed by Senegal, Congo Dr, Tunisia and Cameroon completing the top five.

Burkina Faso, Algeria, Ghana and Cote d Ivoire and Mali completes the top ten ranked nations in Africa in the FIFA rankings for July.
