A big hint has been dropped by the coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr about the chances of the young players in his team ahead of the clash against South Africa on Saturday.
Rohr has as many as ten players who are eyeing their competitive debut for Nigeria against South Africa, but the coach has hinted that he might stick with the experienced players in his team for the game.
” Some players will be playing for the first time and they will make some mistakes, it’s important to support them for the good of the team in the long run”, Rohr said.
” For this game the experience players have an advantage, but the younger players will get their chance. They just need to be ready when they are called upon”.
