Super Eagles forward Olarewaju Kayode has played his last game for Austrian side Austria Wien, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The forward arrived the camp of the Nigeria national team last night on a high after scoring his 17th goal in the Austria Bundesliga in his team 2-3 loss to Red Bull Salzburg.
24 year old Kayode is presently the top scorer in the league with one goal more than Deni Altar of Sturm Graz, with one game left to play in the season although Kayode will miss the game due to his national team commitment with Nigeria.
His form lead to interest from top clubs around Europe especially from teams in Germany and France, but Russian giants Spartak Moscow are set to clinch his signature.
