‎The newly unveiled coach of South Africa Stuart Baxter has warned the Super Eagles of Nigeria to be wary of his side ahead of their AFCON 2019 Qualifiers in Uyo on the 10th of June.

Baxter was unveiled as the new coach of the South Africa senior national team, and during his first press conference, the man who still holds the honour of the only coach in the history of South African football to have gotten a win over the senior team of Nigeria is optimistic they will get a result against Nigeria.

“I hope we will be very competitive with Nigeria. We will give them a game. I’m really looking forward to this latest challenge. If I wasn’t ready, I would not have accepted the challenge,” Baxter said.

He is hoping that his players won’t be intimated by the pedigree of the Nigerian team, and urged them to be at their best for the tie, which will be their first in the qualifying series.
