Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has confirmed that not all players invited for the Super Eagles get together in France will make the squad for the friendly game against Corsica Island.
As many as 30 players are expected to make the trip to France with the Super Eagles, but that number will be trimmed after the team’s training session, Rohr has confirmed.
Nigeria will play a test game against the tiny Island, three days after their camp opens in France, but the coach has confirmed that some players will be dropped from the team before the friendly on the 26th.
“We will play against Corsica and we will have about 20 to 23 players. But not all the players will come with us to Paris on May 23 when we meet before proceeding to Ajaccio in Corsica, where the game will be played.
