Portuguese side CD Feirense lost 0-1 to visiting Sporting Braga with their Nigerian forward Oghenekaro Etebo missing a vital spot kick that would have at least salvaged a point for the newly promoted side.
Etebo was fouled in the area with his side trailing 0-1, he picked himself up but hit a very poor spot kick which was easily saved by the opposition goalkepper.
His missed spot kick ended up costing his team at least a point from the game as the visitors hanged on to pick all three points, with Etebo exiting the game two minutes from full time.
The loss kept his side 9th on the table, while their conquerors Braga maintained their 4th position courtesy of the win, as the Portuguese league approaches the final round of games.
