German second division side Greuther Furth are looking for a loan destination for former captain of the Nigeria Olympic team Erhun Obanor according to reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com online editor.
20 year old Obanor is rated as one of the best emerging full backs in Nigeria, and his fine form for the Nigeria Olympic team during the early stage of their formation made coach Samson Siasia hand him the captain band.
He however failed to make the final 22 man squad for the Rio 2016 Olympics, where Nigeria won bronze after defeating Honduras in the third place tie.
Obanor joined the German side in the summer but work permits issues delayed his registration for the team until few months ago, but he still failed to make an appearance before the end of the first stanza of the league in Germany.
