The agent of FC Porto Nigerian defender Chidozie Awaziem has refused to confirm or deny reports linking the defender with a loan move to Turkish champions Besiktas.
Owngoalnigeria.com sources in Turkey are of the opinion that the 20 year old defender is close to agreeing a loan move, but his agent stayed coy when asked about the reported interest in his client.
” He is very happy at FC Porto, he is their player and I don’t know if he is going to remain at the club, last time I checked he is very happy at Porto”, Babawo told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” If you want to know if Besiktas are interested in him, FC Porto are the right people to ask, he is their player, am just his agent”.

Last season Awaziem made 12 appearances for the first team of FC Porto, but this season he has found games hard to come by for the first team but he has been ever present for the B team , who are campaigning in the second division.
