Six months after joining Ukrainian side Chornomorets Odessa former Nigeria U-17 star Sheriff Isa has been released after failing to make any appreciable impact at the club.
The 26 year old managed only one appearance for the team, which lasted 29 minutes, a 0-0 draw against Karpaty Lviv on the 17th of September 2016.
Since leaving Nigeria in 2012, he has been in Ukraine, where he had stints with Olimpik Donetsk for four seasons before his release in the summer.
Injuries have not been kind to the former Kano Pillars ace as it was part of the reason why he was released by Olimpik Donetsk in the summer before joining Chornomorets.

He has made a total of 83 league appearances in Ukraine with 14 goals to his name,a record that could see him move to another team in January, although he has to sort out his injury problems.
