Stabaek will be playing in the top division in Norway thanks to a brace from their Nigerian midfielder Ohi Anthony Omoijuanfo which gave them a 2-0 win over Jerv in the relegation/promotion play offs.

Jerv finished third in the second division and had to go through the play offs to gain promotion to the top division, while Stabaek finished 14th in the 16 team top division and needed the play offs to remain in the division.

He struck twice in a space of two minutes in the 83rd and 85th minute to help his team to a 2-0 win and 2-1 on aggregate, after losing the first leg 0-1 away from home courtesy of a goal from another Nigerian Michael Ogungbaro.

Ironically 22 year old Omoijuanfo joined Stabaek from the club which his brace condemned to another season in the lower league in January.
