Top division Portuguese side Benfica and Sporting Lisbon are reportedly set to enter into a bidding war for highly rated Alcanenense Nigerian teen forward Patrick Igwe.
The Gee-Lec of Jos exciting forward only recently moved to Portugal but has taken little or no time to settle down into his new surroundings in Portugal.
19 year old Igwe currently plays for third division side Alcanenense but his fine performances right from pre season has been monitored by top clubs in Portugal.
Scouts from Benfica and Sporting Lisbon were reportedly in the stands when Alcanenense took on Lusitania, a game they won 3-0 with the Nigerian impressing for the 78 minute he was on the pitch.

His only goal so far has come in the game against Ginasio Clube De Alcobaca, a game they won 2-0 to push up the table in the three match old Portuguese third division league.
