EXCLUSIVE: LIVERPOOL AWONIYI FOOT DRAGGING ON LOAN MOVE TO KALMAR
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

English Premiership giants Liverpool have announced via official channel that Nigeria youth international Taiwo Awoniyi will spend the rest of the season with Dutch side NEC Nijmegen.

However the move is subject to a work permit been granted to the 19 year old, who joined Liverpool last summer after a whirlwind year with the Nigeria U20s and 23s.

The lanky forward was a late omission from the Nigeria Olympic team to the Rio 2016 Olympics, making the team as an alternate player but he had to leave to sort out his club future.

Last season he was on loan to German second division side FSV Frankfurt where he scored once in 14 games for the team that eventually got relegated to the third division.
