Liverpool teen sensation Ovie Ejaria was benched by manager Jurgen Klopp in their 2-0 victory over AC Milan due to the reasons connected to Liverpool’s last pre season game against Chelsea.
Ejaria, who has started most of their pre season games has been one of the consistent performer for Liverpool in their pre season tour, but he was not listed for action by Manager Jurgen Klopp, as goals from Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi gave the Reds a 2-0 victory over Milan giants, AC Milan.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered from sources close to the club, that the 18 year old who is on the verge of earning an international call up to the Nigeria senior national team, was omitted from the squad for the AC Milan game due to a knock picked up in their previous game against Chelsea.
However, it is believed not to be so serious an injury but the manager doesn’t want him to aggravate the injury that’s why he was left out of the squad, and not due to the various reasons been speculated about in the media.
