Eddy Onazi’s agent Stephen Makinwa has confirmed that Greek giants Olympiakos are interested in the services of his client who is reportedly keen on leaving Italian side Lazio.
“It is a normal thing for top teams like Olympiakos to be interested in a player like Onazi because he is a very good player, we know about the interest from Greece, but for now there is no bid yet” He told Gazzetta.gr
“As it is now we are having lot of contacts, I honestly don’t know where the journalist who said Onazi is keen to leave Lazio got his report from because the last time we spoke he told me he is very happy at Lazio.
“But still we have to wait and see if he will remain with Lazio because in football things can change at any time, however we currently have interest from Greece”.
23 year old Onazi has been at Serie A side Lazio since 2012 establishing himself as a regular in the team but has struggled to get game time the last two seasons, making a total of 31 league appearances as opposed to the 2013/2014 season when he made 29 league appearances.
