On the dot of half time Zakka Bala turned in the third for Kano Pillars to send them into the half time break with a healthy 3-0 win which turned into 4-0 eight minute from fulltime courtesy of Rabiu Ali before Nafiu Kabuga rounded up the rout in the 90th minute.

Abdulrahman Bashir got the lone goal that gave Nasarawa United a slim 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes while in Ibadan fans were giving a lot to savour for as a four goal thriller ended 2-2 between Shooting Stars and Ifeanyi Uba FC.

Sunshine triumph 2-0 over visiting MFM FC to move up to 5th on the log standings.
