Portuguese cup winner SC Braga are locked in talks with Kaduna United over the transfer of 19 year old forward Emeka Umeh popularly referred to as Zlatan due to the similarities he shares with Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Emeka was spotted by scouts of the Portuguese side during a scouting tournament organised by Phildan Football Agency in conjuction with Chuba Shedrack and Faisal Abdullahi.

Owngoalnigeria.com can authoritatively reveal talks over his transfer and two other Kaduna United players namely Peter Momoh and Gabriel Okoriko took place last week.

According to Owngoalnigeria.com correspondent, Emeka stands at over six feet tall and has slicky footworks which makes it very hard for defenders to keep him in check during games.

We gathered he tormented Kano Pillars in a pre season tournament played in Kaduna before the start of the Nigeria Professional League which earned him a call up to the Nigeria U-23 team.

Plucked from Zico FC a grassroot team in Kaduna State, he found the U-23 too steep to cope and was dropped after a week in camp but the experience made him one of their star performers in the state FA Cup which they won.

Kaduna United are open to the sale of the players but are not particularly keen on allowing Emeka leave as they believe he will be worth a bargain in a not too distant future.
