Portland Timbers forward, Fanendo Adi is a subject of interest from English Premier League side Crystal Palace and France’s Ligue 1 side, St. Etienne according to reports picked up by Owngoalnigeria.com.

Adi is also courted by Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League where Adi’s close friend Obafemi Martins now plays since leaving the USA few months ago.

Presently the second top scorer in the MLS with six goals from the first eight games of the season. His form earned him a call up to the Nigeria senior national team although he didn’t get to make the match day squad for the back to back AFCON 2017 qualifiers against Egypt.

In the MLS he has an uncanny habit of scoring two goals if he scores once which has helped bolster his tally for the season and keep him well on course to better his last season tally of 16 goals.
