BORUSSIA DORTMUND KEEPING TABS ON WILFRED NDIDI

According to the authoritative German publication Kicker, German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are closely monitoring the progress of Nigeria centre back Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi.

Ndidi who moved to Genk in the winter transfer window of 2015 has played at two U-20 World Youth Championship for Nigeria before making his senior national team debut in friendly games against Cameroon and Congo DR.

From making just six appearances in his debut season with Genk he has made 29 appearances already with games left to spare in the league, a sign of how far he has progressed the last one year.

Comfortable as a central defender, this season he has played mainly from the defensive midfield role where he has earned himself praises for his strong showings that has seen him twice voted into the Owngoalnigeria.com team of the week for Nigeria players abroad.
