The Super Falcons of Nigeria who were paid 10,000 Naira after qualifying for the Women Africa cup of Nations are not the first national team to suffer from Amaju Pinnick lead NFF lack of concern for player’s and coach’s welfare.

As at the time of going to press the NFF are yet to clear the backlog of salaries they are owing former manager Stephen Keshi and three of his assistants despite the minister of Youth and Sports directive for the coaches to be paid.

The NFF are also owning coach Samson Siasia of the Nigeria U-23s and Bala Nkiyu who handles the female U-17 team as well as the recently appointed senior female team coach Florence Omagbemi.

Pinnick lead NFF are yet to clear the outstanding bonuses of the U-17 players who won the last World Youth Championship in Chile more than six months after they lifted the championship.

He has also slash the appearance fee paid to players in friendly games from $4,000 to $2,000 and foreign based players in the Nigeria U-23 team that played against Brazil paid for their trip without been refunded or paid any allowance after the game.

The recent case of 10,000 Naira paid as qualification bonus is just one among the numerous gaffe the Amaju Pinnick lead board have done when it comes to player’s welfare.
