Rasheed Olabiyi who was recently released by Houston Dynamo is set to be replaced by another Nigerian at the MLS side ahead of the start of the new season this weekend.
Olabiyi released in the early hours of Monday lost his spot to Jalil Anibaba who was signed from Sporting Kansas City for an undisclosed fee although they are reports he is a bargain buy.
Anibaba is a versatile defender capable of playing on the left or right side of defense, though his favoured position is at centre back, his versatility is expected to provide Dynamo with valuable depth in defense.
In the past he has turned out for Chicago Fire, Seattle Sounders before joining Houston Dynamo on the 11th of January 2016.
