Abia Warriors who are presently top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) have boosted their ranks by adding vastly experienced Defender Emmanuel Olowo to their team.

28 years old Olowo represented Sunshine Stars last season and after a long drawn out transfer saga he finally left the Akure Gunners for the Aba based side.

The player expressed his delight at finally joining the ambitious side on social media platform Facebook before speaking with owngoalnigeria.com about his determination to help Abia Warriors win the league.

“We are presently top of the league and if I don’t believe the team match my ambitions I won’t be here in the first place, I asked questions before making this move and I heard nothing but good things about the club and how serious they treat the issue of players welfare” He said.
