NPFL TOP SCORER MOVES TO BULGARIA

One of the top scorers in last season Nigeria Premier League have succeeded in taking his trade abroad by securing a move to Bulgaria where he will play in the top division.

Sunshine Stars forward Tunde Adeniji yesterday put pen to paper on a three year deal with Levski Sofia of Bulgaria and was presented to the media after his first training session with the team.

Last season the 19 year old scored one goal less than the league overall top scorer Gbolahan Salami with 16 goals and in his new he will dorn jersey number 17.

Adeniji was with the Nigeria B team at the recently concluded Africa Nations Championship in Rwanda where he failed to sparkle in the team first game and subsequently lost his spot to Abia Warriors Chisom Chikatara.

Levski Sofia are currently battling to win the league title in Bulgaria chasing the table toppers Ludogorets by five points and the signing of the Nigeria will help ease some of their goalscoring issues.

The team are also perennial campaigners in European competitions as they have experience playing in the prestigious UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

Domestically they have won the league title 26 times in addition to 24 titles in the Bulgaria cup.
