In form Patrick Friday Eze was once again on target but ended up on the losing side as Al-Fujairah slumped to a 2-3 loss to Al Wasl.

The goal was Eze’s 10th in the league and his sixth in five games more importantly the 23 year old has now scored in five consecutive games the first time he has done that in his career.

Eze who joined Al-Fujairah in the summer after emerging as the best player and highest goal scorer in Serbia told owngoalnigeria.com his dream is to break the all time top scorer record in one season set by Asamoah Gyan.

Already his 10 goals in 17 games is a proof of his predatory instinct in front of goal but it has not been good enough for his team who are languishing in 11th in the 13 team table in Dubai.

His goal scoring streak of scoring in five games in a role has only won his team three points and that was when he scored a brace in their 3-6 win over Al-Shaab.

He reportedly snubbed a lot of European team interested in him to move to Dubai where he is reportedly earning ten times what he was earning in Serbia.

However they are talks going on that he might secure a dream move back to Europe to a big league and his current form suggests European teams might scramble for him in the summer.
