The last Nigerian to score a goal against Spanish giant Real Madrid is presently training with newly promoted Nigeria Premier League side Plateau United as he bid to earn a contract with the Jos based side.

Sunday Ibeji who recently returned from a short spell in the Middle East was sighted by owngoalnigeria.com in training with Plateau United who are presently in Kaduna playing pre season games.

Ibeji last played for Ranchers Bees locally but shot to prominence in the early 2000’s as he was part of a Lobi Stars team that took the Nigeria League by storm.
