On loan FC Porto midfielder Mikel Agu has revealed the fee his loan side Club Brugge will have to pay if they want to make his deal permanent in the summer.

Agu speaking to Belgium newspaper Het Nieuwsblad revealed a price tag of €20m was placed on him by FC Porto, a fee he thinks will be impossible for Club Brugge to pay but also a sign that FC Porto rates him highly.

“For me it’s a sign that they believe in me. I know it will be difficult to Club Brugge get me for that price, but may be they will be able to renew my loan if all consider it to be positive. I have a contract with FC Porto, one club where I feel at home because I lived there for six years and they treated me very well. The first decision will be FC Porto,”

The 22 year old started twice for Club Brugge but was missing from the match day squad yesterday when they beat Club Brugge 2-1 in the Juplier league.
