Kano Pillars have pulled a major transfer coup that slipped under the radar following their capture of FK Haugesund 18 year old Nigerian midfielder Sadiq Yusuf.
Nicknamed the Nigeria “Paul Pogba” when he was sighted and signed by Belgium league champions Gent he was loaned to the Norwegian side six months ago.
However he failed to tie down a regular spot in the team unlike his Nigerian counterpart Super Eagles defender William Troost Ekong who is flourishing at the club.
His capture was announced by Kano Pillars on the 15th of January and owngoalnigeria.com can reveal he is presently with the team in Kaduna and has played a game in the ongoing Kaduna FA pre season tournament.
