Chisom Chikatara proposed move to Wydad Casablanca is currently being threatened by a late bid from Tunisian giants Esperance as they yet to agree a transfer fee with Abia Warriors.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered Abia Warriors wants $650,000 for the 22 year old but Wydad Casablanca are only willing to pay $615,000,The disagreement got leaked to Esperance who are now willing to pay $625,000 for Chikatara.
However Abia Warriors are skeptical of doing a deal with Esperance due to their past dealings with Nigeria clubs which has always not ended well with the Tunisians guilty of not honouring their own part of the bargain.
A recent case is that of Emem Eduok with Dolphins of Porthacourt still owed some amount of money and such issues might force Abia Warriors to stick with Wydad Casablanca.
