OFFICIAL: UDOH LEAVES JUVENTUS ON LOAN

King Udoh will be having his first taste of professional football after completing a loan move from Serie A giants Juventus to Serie B side Virtus Lanciano.


18 year old Udoh is born to Nigerian parents in Italy and will join Virtus Lanciano on loan till the end of the season with the Serie B side having the option of making his loan spell a permanent deal in the summer.

Comfortable as a striker or behind the main forward he has made 14 appearances in all competition for Juventus Primavera side with two goals to his name,one in the UEFA youth league and the other in the Copa Primavera.

He joins Virtus Lanciano who are 20th on the 22 team serie B table alongside his Juventus Primavera colleague Mattia Vitale and their capture was announced same time with the club’s latest signing Salviato Simone.

Udoh is yet to be capped by Nigeria or Italy at any level but a good performance for Virtus Lanciano might change all of that and possibly spark an international battle for his services which Nigeria will be eager to win.

Nigeria has lost Stefano Chuka Okaka and Angelo Ogbonna to Italy in the past after failed attempts to lure them to the Super Eagles.
