The 18 year old is on a six month loan to Portimonense from English giants Tottenham Hotspur but they are reports he has been cut loose by the team even before kicking a ball.

His agent Babawo Mohammed dispelled such notion insisting his client was heading to La-Liga side Celta Vigo only for him to end up at Portimonense.

An U-17 world cup winner with Nigeria, Yahaya has progressed through the ranks rising to the U-23 team and his move to Portugal will put him in the right position to battle for a spot in the senior national team in the nearest future.

He might make his competitive debut for 6th placed Portuguese Segunda Liga
