21 year old forward Debo Fashanu son of a very popular former football player has joined Kaduna United after excelling during the team’s trial.
Debo wowed the coaches with his quick feet and goal scoring instincts instantly making it into the team’s main team in a friendly game against Moderate Stars where he scored and assisted another to help Kaduna United win 2-1.
His biological father Oke Fashanu kept goal for league teams in Kaduna but his uncle John Fashanu is more popular after snubbing Nigeria to play for England.
Fashanu played over 1,000 games in English football and captained Wimbledon for 10 years and once took Debo on trial to an unnamed team in Sweden last year but failed to secure a deal
